The volunteers behind People’s Food and Farmers Alliance (PFFA) and People’s Health Alliance (PHA) are thrilled to present their global innovative projects at this year’s April AgriFair Event on the main stage from 3:30pm to 4:30pm on Saturday the 13th of April in Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta Qali. These community projects are aiming to drive positive change in sustainable agriculture and community empowerment. Visitors to AgriFair can look forward to a captivating presentation highlighting the objectives, tactics, and potential outcomes of PFFA’s and PHA’s projects, as well as engaging in discussions on the critical issues facing our food systems and public health today. The People’s Food and Farmers Alliance (PFFA) is a pioneering initiative that fosters collaboration among farmers, policymakers, and consumers to promote sustainable agricultural practices, food security, and address climate change challenges. By advocating for regenerative farming, biodiversity, and improving access to nutritious food, PFFA aims to create a more resilient and equitable foo system. The People Health Alliance (PHA) project, complementing PFFA, highlights the vital link between agriculture and public health. By promoting nutritious diets, food safety and security, and sustainable food production practices, PHA aims to enhance community health and well-being. Through education, advocacy, and policy efforts, PHA empowers individuals to make informed dietary choices that benefit both personal health and environmental sustainability. “At PFFA and PHA, we believe in the power of community-driven initiatives to transform food systems for the better, that promotes both human health and environmental well-being. By working together, we can create positive change and ensure a brighter future for generations to come”, said by the founders behind PFFA and PHA.
